I help out in Zach's classroom every other Friday. This was a great photo a mother took of us. Love you Zach!

Thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving. We stayed home for the first time and enjoyed being together as a family. Kailee and I cooked the entire meal. We even made our first homemade apple pie, crust and all, and it was delish! There is so much to be thankful for...we are very blessed!

Kailee gets glasses!

Kailee now has to wear glasses. She looks GREAT!

Clinton takes on a second job...

As if he isn't busy enough, Clinton is remodeling one of our bathrooms. This is my early Christmas gift and I am so happy! Out with the old, in with the new.

Bradley and Zachary helped me pull up the old flooring and Clint took it from there.

Mommy's Day!

Today was Mommy's Day at Bradley's preschool. I had a great time seeing Bradley's classroom and having a snack. I had to paint him in his halloween costume and He loved that! So sad to think my baby is in his last year of preschol. He's growing up fast.

My future football players!

We love football at our house! Zach and Brad spend hours outside every day playing football together. They can never decide which team they want to be SO they mix it all up. They LOVE to wear daddy's UH helmet.

Trevor's Birth

I flew to Las Vegas last night to be with Becky for the delivery of her second child. I have delivered 4 of my own, but have never seen a birth as an outsider looking in. What an experience!!! I loved being there and seeing Trevor take his first breathe! The begining of a new life is truly a miracle! It meant a lot to me to be with my sister during a special time in her life. I truly look at my own children as my miracles and have a greater appreciation for the ability to carry and bear children.
There is nothing greater to witness than that of a new person coming into this world! Who can deny the existence of God?
To live in a society where motherhood and the family unit is being questioned, I realized today, more than ever, the importance of a family unit where there is a mother and father, male and female, who love one another and come together to create life. There is no greater gift one can give another than opening ones heart and body to the creating of life!
Welcome Baby Trevor!

Kailee has always wanted to learn how to sew. I have two sewing machines BUT I don't know how to sew. I have tried and tried, that's one talent I would like to develop.

Kailee makes her own doll clothes and sews for her build-a-bear. She wants to be a fashion designer when she gets older and design modest clothes. As of now, that's one less struggle! So proud of her!!!

Thanks Grams for spending time with Kailee and helping her develop her love of sewing!

Wonderful Husband

Well, when we bought our California home last year we knew it needed lots of work. I was nervous about how long it would take and how we could start getting workers in to complete our many projects. One afternoon Clinton told me, "Don't worry honey, I plan on doing all the work myself!" I really started to worry then! Well, I am proud to say I have no more worries. Clinton just finished our floors and surprised me by taking out our lame hall closet and put in cabinets and a countertop so I would have more storage.
He is more talented than I thought. Honey, you are the man!!! Carry on the next project, my bathrooms, you have my approval!!!

Zach's 6th Birthday

Zach really wanted to go to Legoland for his birthday. He loved seeing all the legos and walked around the park with the biggest smile on his face. What a great day!

Hawaii

Our last two weeks of summer were spent in the beautiful islands of Hawaii. We had the best trip. We spent a week on Oahu visiting with friends and family, then the kids went on an outer island trip to Maui with my in-laws. Bless You! The kids had so much fun with Grandpa and Grandma. They took the Super Ferry, which is the first ferry to allow residents and tourists to drive cars onto the boat and ride across the ocean to Maui.
While the kids were off and having fun with grandparents Clinton and I flew to Kauai. We stayed at the beautiful Princeville Resort and loved EVERY minute of it! We hiked, kiyaked and swam in the CLEAR ocean water. It was so peaceful to read while sitting the pool and eating lots and lots of fresh pineapple! I had a great honeymoon when Clinton took me to the Big Island 13 years age after or wedding, but this trip to Kauai was magical and just as special. I was spoiled by my wonderful husband and feel like the luckiest woman in the world!
Now we are back in school and living in reality!

Bread Class

I took a bread class with my parents and two of my sisters (Becky and Laurie). We had so much fun together. My sister Kym shared a bread recipe that has changed all of our lives. Because of her I no longer buy bread at the store and have become more creative with my bread recipies. THANK YOU KYM for simplifing my life!

My dad made the best looking bread roll, his turned out better than mine! He was akways good in the kitchen.

Spanish Fork Rodeo

We went to the Pioneer Day Rodeo. The boys loved watching the cowboys and cowgirls ride on the horses and bulls. We love to watch Bull Riding on tv so it was really exciting to see it up close.

Trip to Utah

We had a great trip to Utah. I wish I had the time to write about all the things we did in the course of 10 days. I was sad to leave my parents and sisters.

Natalie returns from Lima, Peru!

We drove to Utah to greet Natalie at the airport. She has been serving a mission the last 18 months and we were so anxious to see her. I made all the kids t-shirts with her picture on them and we decorated Kym's front yard with over 50 balloons and the Peruvian flags.

Fun in the Sun!!!

I guess you could say the kids are having a fun summer. They love to swim in Dr. Wu's pool (daddy's friend). Here are some great shots he took of my three beautiful kids.

A Night Out for a Good Cause

Clinton and I attended the annual Rainbow Services Fundraiser Event. The theme was "An Evening at the Opera". I became a member of this non-profit organization about six months ago. Rainbow Services provides service to woman and children dealing with violence in the home. The waiters were opera singers who sang beautiful! It was s fun evening and a great opportunity to support a wonderful organization.

We spent the day at the Natural History Museum of LA.
